Intro:

I believe that trust and an open and inviting environment are essential for every successful therapeutic relationship. As we build that relationship, I hope to learn more about you as you learn more about yourself, as well. It is a privilege to walk with you on the journey to address and resolve your concerns as we work toward health in all aspects of the word.

Education:

Amanda (she/her) is an intern counselor working to complete her master’s degree in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Prior to that, she earned her Master of Education in Child Studies at Vanderbilt University and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at James Madison University. 

Hobbies:

In her free time, Amanda likes to throw pottery, train with her workout group, and go for walks with her two dogs. When the weather is nice, she and her partner enjoy building a bonfire and hosting friends on their back patio.

Specialties:

Ages 18+, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational concerns, and trauma.
