Uncovering your most authentic self can be a lonely process. At first, you may not be sure who to turn to or who to ask for support. Whether you are coming to terms with a new gender identity or sexuality, how a past event has shaped you, or a new challenge in your life that is stopping you in your tracks, navigating these changes by yourself can be difficult.
Education:
Casper (they/them) got their Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University where they did their internship at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Previously, they got their undergraduate degree in English at The Ohio State University.
My Style:
Casper’s therapeutic style can be described as curious and collaborative. They seek to understand and normalize emotions and experiences that may fall into the margins. Casper is comfortable utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities to meet their clients’ needs which most notably include person-centered, existential, and experiential therapies.
Hobbies:
When they’re not in the office, Casper can be found on the mat at a local jiu jitsu gym, cutting up tiny scraps of paper for their collages, or journaling deep in thought.

Please note: all therapists at Works Counseling Center are LGBT+ competent and committed to anti racism.
