Introduction:

My name is Eason (He/Him), and I’m wishing you a warm welcome and hello! I appreciate you for taking the time to prioritize your mental health and for checking out my page.

I believe that everyone deserves to – and has the innate ability to – live a fulfilling and happy life. Throughout my own personal experiences and my training as a mental health professional, I’ve learned that so much healing can come through building strong, trusting relationships. Because of this, I prioritize working to create a space for folks of all backgrounds and identities to explore their personal, subjective world of thoughts and feelings. It is my goal to support your therapeutic mission, to develop a deeper understanding of what makes you you, and to help you build skills to soar to new heights!

Education:

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, while also working full-time in a mental health clinic throughout grad school. Previously, I worked as a research professional exploring personality in early adulthood and links between the brain and body, and I also received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Belmont University.

Style:

My therapeutic style is very client-centric – my priority is to make our time work as best as possible for you through building on and working towards your personal goals in ways that make sense for you! Rather than patching up the surface and sending you on your way, I want to take the time and make the effort to explore things more deeply together so that we can promote more meaningful healing for you in the process. To do so, I take a psychodynamic approach to individual therapy that integrates aspects of positive psychology, humanistic-existential theory, and cognitive-behavioral skills. This evidence-based approach focuses on empowerment, holistic healing, self-acceptance, and integrating the past and present.

Hobbies:

As a Tennessee native, I have a personal love and connection with the music scene here in Nashville (both through my own playing and through supporting friends and local artists). I also love to spend my down time outdoors hiking and being in nature, cheering on my favorite soccer team (Tottenham Hotspur), or kicking back with friends and family, including my 2 cats and husky!
