About Hailey Edgemond

Humans are hardwired for connection and acceptance, and being able to ask and receive help is one of the best things that we can do– but why is it so hard? I recognize this challenge and commend you for taking this important step. I would be honored to walk with you on life’s journey and to help you navigate any obstacles that you find in your path. 

Education:

I am a mental health counseling intern studying for my master’s in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. I received my previous masters in secondary education from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s in English from the University of Mary Washington. 

Hobbies:

When I am not working, I can be found with animals. I have a licensed therapy dog who accompanies me on visits to assisted living facilities and schools; or we can be found in the show ring participating in AKC conformation shows. When I’m not with my dogs I can be found riding my horses or reading. Can you recommend any good mystery books?

Specialties:

I am interested and open to working with all groups of people! I am passionate about working through transitions. This includes people undergoing relationship transitions (marriage or divorce), life transitions (planning for high school or college), or struggling with career change or indecision.
