“I have learned that people will forget what you say and they will forget what you do. However,
they will never forget how you made them feel” – Maya Angelou.
About:
Jena was born and raised right here in Middle Tennessee. Jena has been in healthcare for much longer than she cares to admit as it seems unreal to her when she says “Nearly 15 years.”
She is a licensed Paramedic and feels blessed to have been able to care for so many individuals during that time. Jena’s experience ranges from emergency medicine to Primary Care. The journey that she feels blessed to have travelled down has led her to where she finally feels like she is home.
What you see is what you get with Jena; authentic and transparent. She is committed and determined to ensure that each person that calls and/or walks through the doors of the Works Counseling Center is treated with the highest level of respect. In addition to also ensuring that each person leaves our office knowing that they are cared for. There is no room for judgement when we focus on empowering each and every person that we encounter!
Hobbies:
When Jena is not at the office, she can usually be found playing with her sweet yet spunky little girl as well as spending time with her family.
Jena also enjoys crafting. She loves glitter and all things that sparkle! She enjoys creating glittery tumblers, sparkly shirts, and just about anything that she can get glitter to stick to. One of our therapists may have 900 cats but Jena has at least 1000 different colors and shapes of glitter. She truly does leave a little sparkle wherever she goes!
Please note: all therapists at Works Counseling Center are LGBT+ competent and committed to anti racism.
