About Kevin Smith

Kevin is fascinated about hearing a client’s life experiences and is excited to dive into their distinctive backgrounds. He is thrilled to cultivate a space where clients are seen, heard, and noticed in their own unique journey. Kevin aims to help clients develop tactics to navigate life’s hardships and foster the life they desire.

Education:

Kevin is a student intern working towards his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. He received his B.A. in Linguistics/Spanish Language Studies from Lipscomb University in 2016.

Hobbies:

Kevin enjoys going on walks, playing sand volleyball and tennis, trying new restaurants in Nashville, and spending time with friends and family.

Specialties:

Kevin is open to working with a wide array of populations. These include individuals navigating church deconstruction, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, and LGBTQIA+ identity. Kevin enjoys using a client-centered approach to counseling, utilizing IFS and CBT. Working with Kevin you can expect to dialogue about your concerns and work towards healthier mental spaces.
