Online counseling may not be beneficial for everyone. For most, face to face therapy can be more effective when treating a condition or a set of challenges. However, for others, leaving their home, driving in a car, sitting in a clinic, or even finding a local therapist may be too difficult. Online counseling was established as an alternative solution to some of these named issues.
At the Works Counseling Center, online sessions are conducted the same way as in person sessions. An initial intake is performed to gather information and then a thorough treatment plan is designed to directly address the presenting concerns.
