About

Shelby graduated from Cumberland University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

At Cumberland, she was a tutor for mathematics and was a captain on their Competitive Cheer Team. Shelby is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She fell in love with the world of mental health in 2018 when she interned with the head of the Psychology Department for Indian Health Service. There, she assisted with youth rehabilitation programs and was invited to speak at Mental Health Awareness Conventions at Native American schools. Originally from South Dakota, she loves the warm weather here in Nashville and loves to explore the city any chance she gets with her Australian Shepherd, Bella.

Hobbies

Shelby enjoys all things artistic including perfecting her beadwork and drawing. She loves spending her weekends hiking with her pup on the many trails in the Nashville area. She enjoys live music and is always up for singing some karaoke. When she is off work, she is a volunteer cheer coach for midstate youth and will most likely be on the sidelines coaching every Saturday during football season.
