Meet the Leadership Team

At Works, our leadership team is built on a shared commitment to our core values: authentic, transparent, accountable, determined, committed, and extraordinary. These values guide how we lead, how we support our team, and how we show up for our clients every day.

While we don’t all think the same — and that’s exactly the point. Our leadership team is made up of different personalities, perspectives, and strengths. Some of us are quirky, some are Type A, some are process-oriented — but together, our differences create balance, creativity, and clarity. Each leader brings a unique skill set to the table, allowing us to challenge one another, grow together, and make thoughtful decisions that move Works forward.

By combining our individual strengths with a shared purpose, we’ve built a leadership team that is deeply connected, highly collaborative, and committed to creating the best possible environment for both our clinicians and clients. Simply put, our leadership skills come together to form the best leadership team Works could ask for — one that leads with intention, heart, and excellence.

Angelique Howington Works

Angelique
Angelique is the owner of Works Counseling Center and the kind of leader who believes you can be deeply competent and deeply human at the same time. She specializes in OCD and anxiety-related disorders and brings the same intentionality to leadership that she brings to clinical work: curiosity, honesty, and a refusal to do things just because “that’s how they’ve always been done.”

She leads with passion, authenticity, and transparency. No hidden agendas. No corporate fluff. If something matters, she’ll say it. If something needs to change, she’ll own it. And if something is worth celebrating, she’ll probably laugh loudly while doing it.

Angelique is bisexual and proud of it, and she cares deeply about creating spaces where people do not have to edit themselves to belong. Owning Works gives her purpose not just because of the clients served, but because of the team built along the way. She believes great work happens when people feel safe, trusted, and genuinely supported.

She takes the work seriously, but not herself. She laughs a lot, brings big energy into the room, and believes leadership can be both grounded and joyful. For Angelique, this isn’t just a business. It’s a calling. And she’s honored to lead it.

Briana Graviss

Briana graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and worked her way from Intake Coordinator to Administrative Director at Works Counseling Center. Along the way, she built a deep understanding of the practice from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience with every moving part of the client and clinician journey.

She later stepped into an already well-established Connect team, where her role required less building systems and more building trust. By taking the time to listen, learn the culture, and show up consistently, Briana earned the confidence of the team and became a steady, trusted leader behind the scenes. Her approach blends structure with respect for what already works.

Today, Briana oversees the back-end operations that keep both Works and Connect running smoothly, with a sharp eye for metrics, policies, and workflows. She’s known for bringing calm to chaos, clarity to complexity, and creating systems that support both therapists and clients.

Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time with family, rewatching comfort shows like The Vampire Diaries and Grey’s Anatomy, unwinding with coloring (and most recently diamond painting), and never turning down an ice cream run.
