If you are feeling stuck in anxiety, an OCD cycle, past experiences, or relationship patterns, you are not alone and you do not have to figure it out alone. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure or judgment, while also helping you more toward real, meaningful change.
Education:
Brandy graduated with her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May of 2026 from Carson Newman University. During her undergraduate education, she received a Bachelors in Psychology from Northern Arizona University. She hopes to continue her education after full licensure with a PhD in Clinical Supervision and Education to create an awareness in future counselors of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
My Style:
Brandy’s style in the counseling room is a balance between being both direct and gentle but not in a way that feels harsh or overwhelming. She understands the importance in creating a safe space for clients to feel safe, heard and understood. While working with clients who have OCD, trauma and/or relationships issues, she pulls from somatic and parts work, CBT and ERP to help them understand the patterns in their thought process while noticing what is happening in their body or helping them face fears in a way that feels doable and supported.
Hobbies:
When Brandy is not in the counseling room, she often finds herself sitting on her couch or lying in bed reading a good romantasy book, most likely ACOTAR or TOG. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her dog, Odin. During the Spring and Summer you can find Brandy either at a park reading a book or in her flower garden trying desperately to keep her dahlias alive. As a true Fall girly, Brandy enjoys re-watching the Harry Potter series, drinking hot chocolate, making smores and doing Tarot readings for all her friends and family.
