About Wynter Henke

Hello! I am a Master’s Level Intern in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, dedicated to walking alongside you as you navigate life’s complexities. I studied undergrad at Middle Tennessee State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and I am currently completing my graduate training through the University of Phoenix.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in Person-Centered Therapy where I prioritize creating a non-judgmental space where you can truly feel seen and heard. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape patterns that may no longer be serving you. I believe the best work happens when we work together and take a collaborative approach to our sessions; ensuring that you are the expert on your own life while providing the tools and support to help you reach your goals.

I believe that mental wellness is most effective when it is holistic. I strive to find the balance between the grounded and the ethereal, bringing a sense of mindfulness and intentionality to my practice that honors both practical growth and our deeper connection to the natural world. Whether you are looking for tangible tools or a space to explore your inner wisdom, I am here to support your unique path toward balance.

Hobbies

When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m usually recharging out in the wild. I love hiking and camping with my husband and our two kids—there’s nothing quite like a weekend in the woods to get grounded.

For my own quiet moments of “inner-work,” I enjoy the meditative flow of coloring and painting. And, as a true fan of a well-ordered and hopeful future, I’m always up for a Star Trek marathon—I find there’s a surprising amount of great philosophy (and even a bit of counseling wisdom!) to be found among the stars.
