Hi, I’m Carolyn! I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and couples can explore challenges, embrace growth, and connect with their authentic selves. My approach focuses on fostering meaningful change through collaborative problem-solving and compassionate care.

Education:

I hold a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Psychology from Lipscomb University and am earning my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. I believe in the power of genuine connection and creating an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My Style:

My approach integrates evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness practices to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs. Together, we can navigate challenges, foster growth, and empower you to build a fulfilling and authentic life.

Hobbies:

When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with my dog, who always keeps life exciting. I enjoy practicing hot yoga and find creativity and relaxation in pottery. Reading and visiting museums are my favorite ways to spend a relaxing weekend and being outdoors allows me to recharge and connect with nature. I also value time spent with friends and being active in my community, finding joy in meaningful connections and shared experiences.

Specialties:

Ages 13+ – OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, abusive relationships, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues.
