I’m going to be honest. Therapy can be difficult. It’s not easy to be vulnerable, talk about the hard things, and give yourself grace and compassion. I am here to help alleviate some of the stress, by providing you with an environment that is safe, non-judgemental, and on your terms. I am determined to meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.

“I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence, but it comes from within. It is there all the time”.
– Anna Freud

Education/Experience:

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human development and family studies at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Memphis. I have experience with children, adolescents, and families in acute stress situations, having completed my internship at an at-risk youth residential facility. I also have two years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing one on one ABA services to children with special needs, ages 2-9.

Hobbies:

On a beautiful day, I really enjoy running and spending time outdoors. I’m maybe a little too obsessed with both my cats, and would take them everywhere with me if I could. I love cooking and farmers markets, and eating lots of yummy food. I also enjoy reading, pretty much anything; and I’m a big cinema nerd. If I wasn’t working towards being a licensed therapist, I would be working somewhere in Hollywood behind the camera for sure!

Specialties:

Ages 8+ – Trauma focused Cognitive behavioral therapy, grief, depression and anxiety, life transitions and stressors, relationship issues, behavioral issues, family conflict, Applied Behavior Analysis, women’s health.
