About Ryan Barr

Hello and welcome! As a counseling intern at Works Counseling Center, I bring genuine empathy, deep curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to every session. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore and reconnect with your authentic self. I help individuals through seasons of growth and healing to create a more purposeful life. If you’re looking for a supportive, encouraging, and genuinely caring space to walk through life’s challenges, I would be honored to join you on that journey.

Education

I am currently pursuing a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years in healthcare organizational leadership. I hold a BS in Accounting and Information Systems and a MA of Accountancy.  

Hobbies

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me practicing hot yoga, writing music, exploring a new hiking trail, or spending time with my beloved Samoyed puppy!
