Alexis (she/her) is a compassionate counselor dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward personal growth and well-being. Alexis provides a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore challenges, gain insight, and develop strategies for positive change. Alexis believes that her clients are the experts of their own lives. She hopes to foster a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers individuals to make meaningful life transitions. Alexis is committed to providing individualized care considering each client’s cultural background, identity, beliefs, and values. Together, you and Alexis will work to explore personal strengths, unhealthy patterns, and uncover untapped potential for personal growth.

Education:

Alexis earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Previously, Alexis received a BA in Philosophy from Belmont University.

Hobbies:

Alexis enjoys watching documentaries, reading poetry and philosophy, cooking, watching hockey (Go Preds!), and exercising!

Specialties:

Alexis specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, and she is excited to work with all individuals seeking care. She is passionate about helping clients to learn about the link between trauma, the brain and body. Alexis prioritizes individualized care and will work toward establishing a treatment plan tailored to clients’ needs and expectations.
