Darden (she, her) wants her clients to know they are not alone; life can sometimes feel impossible, and it’s okay to ask for help. She is a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, neurodivergent adults, relationship issues, body image, binge eating, and everyday struggles. She believes that clients heal and grow in a calm, safe environment where they feel heard and supported.

Education

Darden received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University with a certificate in Play Therapy. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Sewanee: The University of the South.

My Stye

Darden works hard to create a therapeutic space that is both healing and conducive to growth in the therapy room. She uses a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and EFT. She is a compassionate and energetic therapist who wants to sit with you and help you control any fears or cognitions that keep you from living the life you want. Using a mix of experiential and research-based therapy with the support of a solid therapeutic relationship can create a positive therapeutic experience for her clients.

Hobbies

In her spare time, you can find Darden swimming laps at the pool or hunting down her next read at the bookstore. She loves listening to live music and spending time with friends and family.
