Emily’s goal is to create a safe and encouraging space for you to heal, feel empowered, grow, or to just simply be! Counseling can be intimidating at first, so Emily wants her clients to feel fully accepted and supported in each session. Emily values connection, peace, compassion, and acceptance, and strives to help her clients identify and live out their own individual values. She enjoys incorporating mindfulness, creativity, and nature into the healing process!

Emily is a student intern counselor working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Belmont University. She also received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Belmont University in 2022.

Emily loves any opportunity to be in nature, listen to live music, sew or craft, watch a documentary, go to an art museum, or take a walk with friends!

Emily has worked with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, and identity conflicts in youth group settings as well as with young adults walking through life transitions and grief. She emphasizes a person-centered approach and uses a combination of acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness with her clients. She is committed to showing up for her clients in the way that is best for them.
