Kelsy believes that caring for our mental health is vitally important to our well-being and ability to thrive in life. Asking for help and seeking out support takes a lot of courage, and Kelsy considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients who are taking steps towards healing.

Education

Kelsy Kerr (she/her) discovered she really wanted to help people as a professional counselor while earning her BS in Psychology. She graduated with her MS/EdS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University in 2018.

My Style

Kelsy is passionate about providing empathic care to adolescents and adults of all ages. Having greatly benefited from counseling during difficult seasons of her own life, Kelsy personally understands the importance of mental health. She views her clients holistically, meets them where they are, and develops personalized treatments to meet their needs. Utilizing therapy modalities that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, Kelsy enjoys empowering her clients in their wellness journeys.

Hobbies

In her free time, Kelsy enjoys yoga, cooking good meals with her husband, going to live concerts and shows with friends, hanging with her cat, painting, and spending time outdoors.
