Introduction:

Kerisha believes if you are a new client or searching for a new therapist, it is normal to have feelings of hesitation or discouragement. She is here to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to figure out how you want your journey to look and feel. Building a therapeutic relationship is her primary goal, and she strives to lead with empathy and understanding. She values individuality and embraces multiculturism. She is excited to work together to help you become the best version of yourself!

Education:

Kerisha is a student intern counselor pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in Health Sciences.

Hobbies:

Kerisha enjoys roller skating, boxing, dancing, watching tv, and hanging out with friends. She loves attending music festivals and anything outdoors. She likes to curate community events for families to spend time together.

Specialties:

Kerisha has worked primarily with adolescents in school and youth group settings dealing with low self-esteem, anger issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQI+ discrimination, and suicidality. She looks forward to expanding her experience with all populations. Kerisha will work together with clients to find the best treatment options that best fit their individual needs.
