Introduction:

Beginning counseling can be scary and intimidating for a first-time client. Molly’s goal is to offer a warm, welcoming, and open space where clients can come to learn about themselves, restore balance in day-to-day life, and feel listened to. It is normal to feel that support is needed in troubling or difficult times – Molly strives to be the person to meet you where you are on your journey and walk with you further to create change and growth in a positive way. Molly values the idea that each individual’s unique background and experiences shape how they view struggles. Therapy is a step toward making sense of those struggles and how to navigate them. Molly enjoys having the opportunity to build a trusting, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with clients in order to ensure that they get the most from counseling.

Education:

Molly is a student intern counselor working toward her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She also received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Family Studies and Criminology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2021.

Hobbies:

Molly enjoys playing board games, reading books, watching her favorite tv shows, and cooking new dishes. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Frankie and Cotton, and her family and friends.

Specialties:

Molly works with preteens, adolescents, and adults in one-on-one, couple, or family settings struggling with various issues: anxiety, life transitions, relationship troubles, stress, and depression. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic or client-centered counseling, and solution-focused interventions to help my clients through every step of their journey.
